The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Respiratory and Industrial SCBA Specialist you will be responsible for driving the Industrial SCBA business and Respiratory portfolio sales growth within Western Canada (BC/AB/SK).
Here, you will make an impact by:
- Driving sales growth of Industrial SCBA and respiratory portfolio including confined space solutions within territory with emerging, new and existing end-user customers.
- Driving all Respiratory campaigns with distributor partners to support field activities.
- Providing technical support for end users, distributors and territory colleagues by providing options to complex customer needs.
- Conducting training presentations to customers and channel partners, educating industrial professionals, and promoting 3M SCBA and Respiratory solutions.
- Collaborating with Marketing and Technical teams to assist with market research, new product launches, and promotional projects.
- Personal development- product and regulatory knowledge through self-study and corporate training programs.
Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
High School diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Five (5) years of sales experience, with demonstrated mastery of: developing and maintaining sales growth, ability to seek out and develop new customers, managing challenging customers, and technical selling experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Current, valid Driver’s License
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree (completed and verified prior to start)
- Experience in the Respiratory and SCBA industry
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce etc)
- Understanding of provincial regulations and how they impact respiratory selection.
- Experience of field use application of various levels of Protective Respiratory space (Confined Space an asset)
Work location: Remote
Sales Territory: Western Canada
Travel: May include up to 80% travel within BC, AB and SK. Some overnight travel
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
The expected compensation range for this position is $108,639 -$132,781, which includes base pay and variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
