Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Group Lead Warehouse, 1st Shift at our Emerald Road facility in Greenwood, SC.
The rate for this position is $23.77 per hour. The core hours are 6:00 am until 2:30 pm.

## What you’ll do:
The Warehouse Group Leader is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading warehouse operations to ensure customer requirements and order fulfillment targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and in accordance with lean manufacturing principles. This role drives team performance through effective labor planning, process control, continuous improvement, and adherence to standardized work while maintaining focus on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory objectives. Working under the guidance of the Materials Manager, the Group Leader exercises independent judgment, monitors operational performance, conducts root-cause problem solving, facilitates shift-to-shift communication, and fosters a culture of accountability, employee development, and continuous improvement.
* Lead and direct a team of material handlers to safely meet customer requirements and order fulfillment targets while ensuring compliance with quality standards, lean manufacturing principles, and established standardized work processes.
* Analyze daily and weekly operational performance data to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory (SQDCI) goals; identify productivity improvement opportunities; and lead continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence.
* Manage daily workforce planning and shift execution by monitoring attendance, adjusting labor resources, conducting team start-up meetings, ensuring operational readiness, and supporting production activities as needed to maintain workflow and customer commitments.
* Oversee shift operations by conducting floor walks, standardized work audits, and process observations; ensuring adherence to standard work practices; monitoring activities throughout the shift; and coordinating effective shift-to-shift communication and handoffs.
* Review production performance, investigate missed targets and operational issues, conduct root-cause analysis, implement corrective and preventive actions, and verify completion of team assignments and execution of standardized work.
* Promote a culture of safety by leading initiatives focused on achieving zero recordable incidents, conducting routine safety audits and training, and implementing preventive measures to reduce workplace risks.
* Provide leadership, coaching, training, and development for team members, ensuring employees are qualified, cross-trained, and capable of performing all applicable functions within the value stream.
* Lead change initiatives, set direction for process improvements, foster team engagement and accountability, and recognize and celebrate individual and team accomplishments that contribute to operational success.
* Effective communication skills orally and written skills; ability to influence others to achieve specific goals.
## Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or G.E.D.
* 2 to 5 years of manufacturing experience
* Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
