Essential Responsibilities:
Have the skills and knowledge to set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results as a NADCAP Level II Technician. Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method. Have skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standards. Be capable of providing necessary guidance and /or supervision to trainees and level - 1 personnel. Be familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the method used. Have a basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology. Qualify as a Level II NDT Technician within 2 years from your hire date. Provide off shift coverage for FPI & X-ray production operations (2nd or 3rd shift).
Minimum requirements:
- Solid understanding of basic math. Will be required to take and pass a Basic Math Test.
- Be knowledgeable with computers and Microsoft Office. Will be required to take and pass a Computer Literacy Test.
- Must be able to pass a vision test (Snellen 20/25).
- Be able to work alone and stay on task.
Desired requirements:
- NAS-410 Level - 2 certification (within last 3 years) in FPI and/or X-ray.
- Working knowledge of the product technologies used by JTI.
- Ability to work with others in multiple settings (i.e. one-on-one, teams, customers, and auditors).
This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations, working with chemicals, and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
