Our teams deliver the Holman Experience by treating our customers and each other as we would like to be treated, and creating positive, rewarding relationships all around.The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.Holman Powertrain has a great opportunity for a Driver to join our team in Brownstown Township,Michigan!Starting pay: $22 per hourShift: Monday - Friday shift starting at 6amBenefits include health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, paid time off and more!Eligible for benefits within 30 days of employmentWhat will you do?Must be able to be certified medically by a certified DOT medical examiner in regard to fitnessMust have a Chauffeur License To work as a truck driver, delivering new and collecting used auto parts as needed.Must be willing to comply with the Drug and Alcohol Testing requirements of 49 CFR Part 40Operate vehicle in compliance with all state and federal safety and administrative requirementsMust follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report all accidents to a manager or supervisor.Load, secure, and deliver automobile parts (engines, transmissions, small parts, etc.) to customersDrive to customer locations and off load and reload truck. Loading is performed with a pallet jack or hand truck.Unload vehicle and stack returned product in a manner to facilitate warehouse efficiency.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance and up to 100 lbs. with assistanceUse Scanner/print pad to Scan/log returned goods; track delivery of goods and returnsCheck-in finished goods before loading vehicleWork within weather related extremesPerform daily DOT safety check/inspection on vehicle and report deficiencies to supervisorMust be willing to have overnight stays if required by routeOther duties as assignedWhat are we looking for?2+ years of warehouse driver experienceMust be able to be certified medically by a certified DOT medical examiner in regard to fitnessMust have a Chauffeur LicenseMust be able to pass a DOT application process and physicalPallet Jack/Forklift certifiedBasic computers skills.Good attention to detail.Strong organizational skillsPositive energy while working in a team settingTechnical knowledge.#LI-AA1#INDPT At Holman, we exist to provide rewarding careers and better lives for employees and their families.
