Global Corporate Banking - Subsidiary Banking - Vice President
As a Subsidiary Banker Vice President within the Latin America Subsidiary Banking team, you will manage relationships with Latin American subsidiaries of global corporate clients in Peru, based in Lima. You will offer Cash Management, Trade, FX & Rates, Commodities, and Financing solutions while collaborating with headquarter bankers and product partners across regions to coordinate coverage strategies.
Job Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Origination
- You will develop and strengthen relationships with Treasurers and CFOs of multinational clients in Peru, originating corporate banking opportunities across Cash Management, Trade, FX & Rates, Commodities, and Financing.
- You will engage in active dialogue at both headquarter and local levels, educating clients on J.P. Morgan's corporate banking capabilities in Peru.
- You will create strategic business plans for both existing and prospective clients.
Client Analysis & Solutioning
- You will conduct thorough client analysis to identify business needs addressable with J.P. Morgan's corporate banking products, and convert that analysis into actionable financial solutions.
- You will communicate client needs to local and regional product partners to inspire product development ideas.
Partner Coordination & Risk Management
- You will collaborate with headquarter bankers and product partners to identify new business opportunities and execute deals jointly.
- You will conduct regular cross-functional reviews with local and regional peers to ensure coordinated management of client relationships and business opportunities.
- You will maintain a strong Risk & Control framework, adhering to J.P. Morgan's KYC, AML, GFCC, PAD, PEP, and Reputational Risk policies.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Strong analytical skills, commercial judgment, and influencing abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and client prospecting skills.
- Ability to lead and work effectively in a cross-cultural team environment.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Experience in corporate banking.
- Knowledge of J.P. Morgan products.
