CyberSec Engineer works with all business units, supporting and maintaining IT security solutions and related governance for empowering business success. IT Security is responsible for protecting Cloud and IT infrastructure, edge devices, networks, and data. Responsible for preventing data breaches and monitoring and reacting to attacks.

CyberSec Engineer works on implementing a new developmental approach to the entire organization in preventing and alleviating threats/attacks. Oversee the company's security, backup, and redundancy strategies support. Should support security procedures in the software development process at every stage in the organization's ISMS activities.

The role relies on AI-assisted tools and scripting/automation to speed up analysis, response, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

●  Assist and guide implementation of the ISMS activities.

●  Monitoring the compliance of information security policies and procedures.

●  Report to Senior Management periodically on different ISMS activities.

●  Responsible for IT security, recognizing the security threats, and working with the IT team on closing vulnerabilities and mitigating misconfigurations.

●  Monitoring and auditing that company's critical assets are secured and controlled.

●  Incident Response - testing for and resolving system vulnerabilities, maintaining strong security best practices, and providing support for all incident handling measures.

● Install, configure, test, and maintain security systems, and other security tools related to IT Security.

●  Maintain and support with SOC team collaboration and MDR service management.

●  Use AI-based tools and scripting/automation to accelerate threat analysis, vulnerability triage, and security reporting.

Requirements

  • University or post-graduate degree
  • Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)
  • 3+ years of experience in IT Security (IT Security and Cloud tools)
  • Strong private and public cloud security experience.
  • Experience and knowledge in security architecture, identity and access management, application security, and network security.
  • Cloud security experience.
  • Experience with Identity, SSO solutions and methodology. SAML and similar protocols.
  • Excellent written / verbal communication and professional maturity.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline-driven work environment.
  • Ability to work in afterhours to complete tasks in different time zones.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate and reinforce organizational values.
  • Threat intelligence analyst experience. SIEM analyst experience.
  • Incident forensics (Digital forensics and incident response (DFIR)).
  • ISO 27001/27018 knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation, log analysis, and security tool integration.
  • Solid understanding of network security fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPN, network segmentation) and operating system security (Linux and Windows hardening, patch management).
