Quantum Machines is establishing a dedicated Cryogenic Control team as part of our Cryo Product Line. We are looking for a technically strong and commercially minded Product Manager to define this emerging product area and build the team that will deliver it.
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of quantum technology, cryogenic electronics, semiconductor development and product strategy. You will help turn emerging technologies into products that solve real scaling challenges for quantum-computing customers.As Product Manager & Team Lead for Cryogenic Control, you will own the direction, product strategy and development of Quantum Machines’ cryogenic control activities.
You will lead a small, highly specialised team working on the evaluation, testing and productisation of cryogenic electronics. A key initial objective will be to establish the right technology and commercial partnerships to productise a cryogenic multiplexer and the associated carriers, packages and test infrastructure as a first step.
You will work closely with quantum physicists, system architects, electronics engineers, packaging specialists, semiconductor partners, foundries, customers and commercial stakeholders.
The role requires someone who can understand the physics and engineering well enough to make informed product decisions, while maintaining a strong focus on customer value, market development and commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Cryogenic Control together with Architecture and Research.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer architectures, quantum-control use cases and system-scaling challenges.
- Identify where cryogenic electronics can create meaningful technical and commercial value.
- Translate quantum-system requirements into clear product and technology priorities.
- Identify, assess and develop partnerships with cryogenic-electronics suppliers, semiconductor companies, fabless design organisations, foundries and research institutions.
- Drive the selection, evaluation and testing of cryogenic electronic technologies.
- Lead the productisation of a cryogenic multiplexer together with external technology partners and QM Cryo packaging group.
- Build business cases, market assessments, pricing strategies and commercialisation plans.
- Represent the Cryogenic Control area internally and externally.
Requirements
We expect you to have a strong technical foundation in one or more of the following areas:
- Quantum measurement or quantum-control systems.
- Cryogenic electronics.
- Integrated-circuit design, validation or application engineering.
- Mixed-signal, RF or microwave semiconductor products.
- Semiconductor product development.
- Advanced electronic-system validation.
- Quantum-computing hardware or measurement infrastructure.
Experience from a commercial technology organisation is highly valuable. You may currently work in product management, product strategy, applications engineering, semiconductor development, quantum technology or technical business development.
Previous product-management experience will help you move quickly in the role, but we are also interested in candidates with strong technical and commercial judgement who are ready to take broader product ownership.

Experience with fabless semiconductor development, foundry processes, technology transfer, semiconductor packaging or outsourced manufacturing would be an advantage.
