WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role sits within Nike's GC Local Creation organization and reports to the Senior Director, Apparel Local Creation GC.

The Apparel Product Line Management team plays a critical role in translating consumer, marketplace, and business insights into compelling product strategies and solutions for the Greater China marketplace.

This leader will lead a high-performing Product Line Management organization, including people managers, and provide strategic leadership across locally relevant product expression, nearshore creation capabilities, and new product innovation, driving consumer-led growth and marketplace success for the Greater China business.

The role partners closely with Design, Technical Development, Sourcing, Costing, Merchandising, Planning, Finance, Brand, Marketplace, and Sports teams, while collaborating with both GC and global partners to bring consumer-right products to market.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a strategic, consumer-obsessed, and results-oriented Director, Apparel Product Line Management to lead Nike's Apparel PLM organization for Greater China.

This leader will drive apparel product strategy across Apparel product strategy across our product portfolio, delivering consumer-right, locally relevant apparel that support GC growth and marketplace priorities. They bring a strong product point of view, deep understanding of consumer and marketplace trends, and the ability to translate insights into compelling product direction.

The successful candidate demonstrates strong product management expertise, commercial acumen, and a passion for product storytelling. They have a sharp eye for products, a pulse on style and trend, and the ability to connect consumer, cultural, and marketplace insights to winning product assortments.

They are also an authentic and inclusive people leader with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams and coaching managers. This role requires influencing across a matrix organization, creating clarity in ambiguity, and mobilizing teams to deliver with speed, quality, and impact.

Key requirements:

  • 10+ years in apparel product management, merchandising, category strategy, product creation, or related fields.

  • Deep understanding of apparel creation, product storytelling, and trend forecasting, with exceptional product eye and style sensibility.

  • Deep understanding of GC consumer insights, marketplace trends, and competitive dynamics

  • Proven ability to translate consumer insights into innovative and commercially successful product solutions, with strong commercial acumen driving growth and profitability.

  • Demonstrated success leading multi-level organizations, including people leaders, while driving alignment and results across cross-functional teams

  • Ability to develop talent and build inclusive, high-performing teams

  • Exceptional influence, communication, and stakeholder alignment skills

  • Ability to lead effectively in complex, fast-paced, and evolving environments

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will lead the Apparel PLM team overseeing product strategy and portfolio direction across Apparel performance and lifestyle portfolio, and create to deliver consumer-right, locally relevant products that fuel growth and deepen consumer connection.

In this role, you will:

  • Define and execute apparel product strategies in service of GC consumer, marketplace, and business priorities

  • Lead and develop a team of Product Line Managers, including people managers, while building future organizational capability and operating model

  • Drive excellence across the product creation process, from concept through commercialization

  • Translate consumer, marketplace, and commercial insights into compelling product direction and solutions

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to align strategy, priorities, and execution

  • Manage the apparel product portfolio, balancing consumer impact, growth, profitability, and speed

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the PLM organization
