Position Summary
The Housekeeping attendant maintains the cleanliness and appearance of Ryan Field before, during, and after events. This position helps ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests by cleaning public spaces, restrooms, suites, offices, and back-of-house areas.
This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00 - $23.00
Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.
This position will remain open until November 6, 2026.
About the Venue
The new Ryan Field will create a world-class home for Northwestern University Athletics and a best-in-the-nation football experience for fans and players and be a year-round asset for the community.
Responsibilities
- Clean restrooms, concourses, seating areas, suites, offices, and event spaces.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles.
- Restock restroom supplies.
- Clean spills and respond to guest service requests.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas.
- Report maintenance issues.
- Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling.
- Assist with post-event cleaning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous custodial experience preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects often.
- Ability to work flexible schedules.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities.
