Raytheon is seeking a Product Owner (Principal Specialist, Business and Program Management) responsible for maximizing the value of supply chain solutions by prioritizing the product backlog, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery through strong project leadership, business analysis, and change management.

What You Will Do

  • Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems that are imaginative, thorough, practical, and consistent with organizational objectives. 
  • Through team collaboration, determine, recommend and develop solutions. 
  • Implement solutions within cost and schedule by applying proven and innovative practices that overcome the shortcomings of the current paradigm.
  • Frequently communicate with inter-organizational and outside customer contacts at executive level of management. 
  • Coordinates with the customer and other team members and ensures problem resolution, appropriate risk reduction, and user satisfaction. Draft and publish training materials, train users, and provide sustained maintenance of applications.
  • Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions to systems or subsystems using internally created and/or commercial off-the-shelf products. Draft a variety of related technical documents including Business Cases, Project Charters, Requirements Specifications, Design Documents, Test Plans, Training, RASCIs, Risk and Opportunity Analysis, and Stakeholder Analysis. Develops ROI and manages project scope, budget, and time constraints

Qualifications You Must Have  

  • Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 year’s experience.
  • Agile product ownership experience.
  • Experience collecting and documenting system requirements and business processes
  • Professional experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Property and Logistics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and drive timely resolution across cross‑functional teams and collecting and documenting system requirements and business processes.
  • SAP, FIORI UX, JIRA Experience
  • General knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, and/or Ad-hoc Reporting
  • Certification such as PMP, CAPM, PMI-PBA, CPIM, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM)
  • Experience writing test cases and system testing
  • Core Specialist, Six Sigma (R6ó) Green Belt, or higher Certification

Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
