Bright and welcoming by day, the Lobby Lounge offers barista-made coffee, pastries, salads and sandwiches, shifting into an elegant antipasto and wine bar setting by evening. The perfect spot for a casual catch-up or a moment of calm between meetings. 

• Preparing beverages 

• Keep the barista area clean and follow a procedure to thoroughly clean the equipment at the end of the day. 

• Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates. 

• Check if equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs. 

• Communicate customer feedback to managers. 

• Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios). 

• Run food and beverage to the tables. 

• Help clear tables and stations. 

• Assist floor team when requested. 

• Ensure tables and chairs are correctly positioned for each beverage service and that all chairs, seats and floor are spotlessly clean before the arrival of each guest. 

• Be familiar with all items on menus available to clients, including names and styles of wines detailed on the wine list. 

• Ensure glasses are filled or cleared away when empty. 

• Be professional, polite and well spoken; ensure communications are grammatically correct and articulate. 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is mandatory. 

• Legal working rights. 

• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, bar, or hotel environment preferred. 

• Experience preparing espresso-based coffee and other hot beverages is highly regarded. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. 

• Professional presentation and a positive, guest-focused attitude. 

• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays. 

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
