Senior Product Manager
LvivFull-time$7,000–$9,000/moPosted Aug 5, 2026
About Settle
Settle is the financial backbone for modern consumer brands: bill pay, working capital, and procurement tooling in one platform. Our customers use us to move hundreds of millions of dollars every month, and we lend against more than $1B a year of that flow.
About the role
We're hiring a senior product manager to own a major slice of this product. The exact split will depend on your strengths and how we pair you with our other PM, but the work spans two connected worlds:
1. Financing products and the economics behind them. New lending products for both sides of a transaction: financing for the brands paying bills, and financing for the vendors who supply them, repaid automatically as invoices settle. Underneath sits work that changes the unit economics of the whole business: loan sales, prefunding, and new banking and capital relationships. Done right, this becomes a flywheel: payers bring their vendors, financed vendors bring their other payers.
2. The core product that moves the money. The bill pay, invoicing, and payment workflows our customers live in every day, the APIs and integrations that connect us to their other systems, and the constant improvement of features where correctness matters because real dollars move when you ship.
This is a senior, high-autonomy role. We don't have a CPO: you'll get context and goals from the founders and your PM partner, not micro-management. You'll run a dedicated pod of engineers and work daily with US-based stakeholders in Credit, Capital Markets, Finance, Legal, Sales, and Ops, each of whom holds real constraints you'll need to navigate.
What you'll do
- Own a product area end to end: strategy, roadmap, specs, shipping, and the numbers afterward.
- Launch new financing products and open new markets for them, working with Credit and Capital Markets on pricing, risk, and facility eligibility.
- Improve the economics of the lending machine itself: loan sales, prefunding, and banking relationships that free capital and expand what we can offer.
- Build and optimize the core workflows and APIs used to move hundreds of millions of dollars a month, where reliability and correctness are the feature.
- Talk to customers weekly: brands, their finance teams, and their vendors.
- Write crisp specs for money-movement and ledger-adjacent systems; define KPIs and instrument them with our Data team.
- Manage stakeholders with real vetoes (credit risk, capital, legal) and still ship on time.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience, with clear senior-level ownership: you ran the roadmap, made the calls, and answered for the results, not executed someone else's spec.
- Experience at a product company (not exclusively agency or outsourcing work), where you had decision-making autonomy and accountability for outcomes.
- Lending or credit product experience strongly preferred: loan origination, servicing, underwriting, ledgers, or loan tapes. Fintech or payments experience is the next best thing. If you haven't worked in these areas, we expect demonstrated mastery of complex systems with heavy multi-stakeholder constraints (we will probe this hard).
- Comfort operating with significant independence; there is no CPO to structure your work.
- Strong written and spoken English, with roughly 3 to 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern time.
- Data-driven mindset and basic SQL skills: you come up with and answer your own questions.
- Based in Lviv (preferred) or elsewhere in Ukraine; strong Eastern-Europe candidates (for example Poland) also considered.
Nice to have
- Two-sided product experience (marketplaces, B2B networks).
- AR/AP, invoicing, or ERP-adjacent domain knowledge.
- Prior work with or for a US company; experience being the remote senior owner on a US-centric team.
- Experience with credit risk teams, capital facilities, or regulated products.
Compensation
Between $7,000 and $9,000 per month + bonus + equity + benefits. Actual compensation is influenced by skills and experience.
Why this role
- Real scope: a fintech that already moves hundreds of millions of dollars a month and lends over $1B a year, small enough that one PM's decisions show up in the P&L.
- Range: zero-to-one financing products, capital-markets economics, and a core product with hundreds of daily-active finance teams. You will not be maintaining someone else's backlog.
- A dedicated engineering pod, direct access to the founders and the credit team, and genuine autonomy: the same reasons our best people stay.
- Settle is fully remote. Engineering, product, and design are primarily Ukraine-based.
