SMB Sales Manager, Uber for Business, Mexico
About the role and team
Sales at Uber means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don’t come with a script. In this role, you will lead the growth trajectory of the U4B SMB segment by building and coaching a high-performing account executive team from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for creating a culture of excellence where your team moves with urgency to acquire new customers at scale, bridging the gap between digital solutions and real-world healthcare movement.
This is a high-stakes leadership position that requires a "go-get-it" attitude and a team-player mindset. What you’ll do
- Build and grow long-term partnerships by guiding Account Executives through the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Navigate ambiguity and internal complexity to unlock value for Uber for Business clients, managing pipelines with both urgency and discipline.
- Lead and coach your team to hit ambitious targets, holding a high bar for performance and making fast corrective actions when needed.
- Collaborate across operations, product, and legal to shape proposals and resolve blockers that scale our Uber for business offerings.
- Adapt your approach based on evolving market dynamics and industry trends, ensuring your team communicates the Uber value proposition clearly.
- Own the team's results end-to-end, from monitoring the sales pipeline and forecasting revenue to assisting with high-value contract negotiations.
Basic Qualifications
- 5 + years of B2B sales experience (high volume, lead generation, or outbound prospecting).
- 1+ years of experience leading sales teams or equivalent internal Uber leadership experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in analyzing sales data to monitor performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive track record of coaching and developing people to consistently exceed revenue targets.
- Proven ability to problem-solve and show resilience in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with experience in Salesforce, Google Sheets, or similar sales tools.
- Ability to influence senior audiences and align cross-functional stakeholders toward shared business goals.
