THE ROLE 

The Premium Services Manager works closely with internal and external teams to ensure all assigned teams are properly preparing or implementing catering and premium spaces for event(s) at the Fishers Event Center. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suite holders, premium members, and catering clients by proactively communicating before and after events, resolving service issues, and identifying 

  • Serve as the operational leader for all premium hospitality spaces during events, ensuring exceptional service execution, timely food and beverage delivery, and immediate resolution of guest concerns. 

  • Work directly with the Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Chef to create all catering and suite menus  

  • Partner with the Director of Food & Beverage and Director of Sales to ensure all catering menu proposals are presented to the client accurately & effectively 

  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and pre-event planning sessions to understand client expectations and ensure all Food & Beverage details are accurately communicated to operational teams. 

  • Effectively communicates menu offerings, event details, ordering deadlines, and service expectations to suite holders, premium members, tenant representatives, and private event clients while providing exceptional customer service throughout the planning process 

  • Hires, trains and schedules event team members and is actively involved in the training and development for in service techniques, menu presentation, policies, and procedures 

  • Oversee all premium hospitality operations including suites, clubs, lounges, tenant hospitality spaces, catered events, and private functions, ensuring exceptional service, presentation, and operational excellence at every event. 

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with tenant representatives by proactively communicating event expectations, menu offerings, premium service opportunities, and operational updates. 

  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Directly supervises all employees in premium spaces. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legends's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with Human Resources; addressing complaints and resolving problems. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience              

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent professional experience 

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hospitality industry including 2 year of supervisory experience 

 

Skills and Abilities        

  • Strong knowledge of current food, industry trends and fine dining points of service 

  • Supervisory, scheduling, training and coaching skills 

  • Ability to assess client requirements and deliver ensuring client satisfaction 

  • Must be able to write menu proposals in consultation with chefs 

  • Prepare and monitor budgets; financial targets and forecasts 

  • The ability to supervise food preparation, service and cleanup is also essential 

  • Maintain local client’s database and build and maintain relationship with vendors 

  • Ensure all safety and sanitation procedures are followed in compliance with HACCP 

  • Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations 

  • Valid Alcohol Permit 

  • Servsafe certification recommended

  • Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 

  • Superior quantitative, oral and written communications and problem-solving/strategizing skills 

  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, flexible and adaptable to constant changes and must possess attention to detail 

  • Proactive mindset and able to remain calm under pressure to anticipate and support changes in our business.
