Account Manager – Aerospace & Defense | Pittsburgh, PA | 100% Onsite


Our client, a well-established manufacturer supplying mission-critical components to the aerospace & defense industry — alongside energy, lighting, and industrial markets — is looking for a driven Account Manager to step into a warm portfolio and grow it, not build it from zero.


If you've spent the last few years in B2B or manufacturing sales and you're ready to trade prospecting grind for real ownership of established relationships on high-stakes aerospace & defense programs, this is your next move.

What You'll Own:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of customer accounts, including aerospace & defense clients
  • Manage orders and projects end-to-end, from inquiry through production and delivery
  • Build long-term customer relationships and deliver a level of support that keeps them coming back
  • Partner directly with engineering and operations to shape customized solutions for demanding technical specs
  • Dig into customer specs, drawings, and project requirements
  • Negotiate pricing, blanket orders, and timelines
  • Keep account activity sharp in HubSpot CRM and ERP systems
  • Spot and act on opportunities to grow the accounts you own


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A track record in customer service, account management, inside sales, client success, technical sales, or manufacturing support
  • Stable work history and tenure - no job hopping


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Full-time, direct-hire, salary position $65-75k/yr depending on experience
  • PPO and EPO medical plans, plus dental and vision coverage
  • Company covers 75% of healthcare premiums!
  • 401(k) with 50% company match on the first 6% contributed
  • PTO, sick time, and 10 paid holidays
