How you create impact
As an Air Logistics Specialist – OCC (Inbound Gateway Transfer), you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of import shipments from gateway arrival through final delivery. You will deliver exceptional service by coordinating transportation activities, managing documentation, and maintaining strong communication with customers, carriers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders.
You will:
- Coordinate pickup and delivery services according to customer requirements and operational procedures.
- Schedule and manage delivery appointments with customers, carriers, and warehouses to ensure timely cargo movement.
- Create and validate transportation and shipment documentation accurately and on time.
- Monitor shipment status proactively and provide timely updates to customers and stakeholders.
- Create and manage customs bonds, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and operational standards.
- Coordinate linehaul transportation between gateway and branch offices, ensuring seamless cargo transfers.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve operational issues, escalating when necessary to minimize service disruptions.
- Deliver outstanding customer service through email, phone, and other communication channels.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure operational excellence.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and efficiencies.
- Achieve defined productivity, quality, and service performance targets.
Work schedule:
We have three open vacancies under this same position with the following schedule/shift
Thursday - Monday 07:45 - 16:45
Tuesday - Saturday 07:45 - 16:45
Sunday - Saturday 07:45 - 16:45
This position is subject to a rotating schedule and shift, which may vary between day, night, or mixed shifts. Your days off will also be assigned by the company, and both your schedule and days off may be modified with a minimum notice of five (5) business days.
What we would like you to bring
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Intermediate Excel skills.
English proficiency (B2 level or higher).
Availability to work overtime and holidays as needed.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Studies in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, International Business, or related fields are a plus.
Experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics operations preferred.
Knowledge of air cargo and airline operations is an advantage.
Experience with shipment tracking systems and transportation documentation.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
