Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As an Analyst Food and Beverage/Finance you’re not just supporting the hotel’s financial operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Perform essential accounting functions: Execute tasks across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and General Accounting to support financial operations.
- Manage financial inquiries and issue resolution: Research and respond to accounting and financial inquiries, collaborating with internal and external parties to resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Analyze food and beverage financial performance: Monitor food and beverage costs, sales, inventory, and operational expenses, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions to improve profitability.
- Support month-end and financial reporting: Assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Maintain financial controls: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls to safeguard financial data and assets.
- Collaborate across departments: Partner with operations, purchasing, inventory, and other finance teams to improve financial performance, cost efficiency, and reporting accuracy.
- Communicate financial information: Prepare reports that communicate financial results and provide actionable insights to management and other stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve operational efficiency through data-driven recommendations.
