Position Summary:

Provides service, support, navigation and/or solutions, in accordance with level of experience, education, regulatory agency standards and established policies and procedures. Conducts daily functions in a compassionate, ethical and respectful manner. Supports physicians, patients, families, and guests in exceeding their expectations. Demonstrates the ability to deliver personalized care and service unique to the patients' and families' expectations/needs. Works cooperatively with nursing and providers to support patient throughput.

What you will do:

  • Facilitate the timely availability of images for interpretation and communication of radiology results across the region
  • Perform clerical functions including customer service (all communication methods), data entry, maintenance and organization of electronic, paper and film-based records, processing imaging requests, and generating various reports for quality assurance.
  • Monitor multiple imaging systems across the region to facilitate and prioritize various results, processes, while enabling the organization to meet requirements of multiple accrediting and certifying bodies.
  • Maintain working knowledge of PACS, EHR, and all related radiology-specific systems to provide assistance to physicians, radiologists and off-shift radiologists as necessary to enable interpretation of exams.
  • Investigate, identify and make recommendations for improvement during situations in which care was delayed due to process breakdown.

What you will need:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of relevant experience
