The M&A Associate will support the structuring and execution of a broad range of complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, spin-offs, joint ventures, asset swaps and defense assignments. The team advises a diverse group of innovative clients across a wide range of healthcare and life sciences sub-sectors, including biotechnology, medical technology, life sciences tools, diagnostics, specialty pharmaceuticals and technology-enabled healthcare. The successful candidate will work closely with both the M&A and healthcare coverage teams to deliver high-quality strategic advice to clients. You will play an integral role within a collaborative team of senior professionals, with the opportunity to go beyond the numbers, think creatively and contribute meaningfully to transaction execution and client engagement.Qualifications3–5 years of experience in investment banking as an Analyst and/or Associate, or an MBA, with a proven track record of working on executed M&A transactionsStrong financial statement analysis skills and expertise in valuation and financial modeling across transaction typesExceptional work ethic, with a high level of motivation and commitmentStrong written and verbal communication skills, as well as client and interpersonal skillsSound commercial judgment and the ability to perform under pressure and manage tight deadlinesBachelor’s degree required; MBA and/or CFA designation is a plus.
