GTM Operations Engineer
fal is the generative media ecosystem powering the next generation of AI products. We build the infrastructure, tools, and model access that teams need to move from idea to production, and do it at scale without compromise. For developers and enterprises, fal is the foundation that makes generative media not just possible, but practical: a unified platform where high-performance inference, orchestration, and observability come together to unlock new categories of AI-native products.
As generative media reshapes industries across a market projected to grow by hundreds of billions over the next decade, fal is becoming the ecosystem that ambitious teams build on.
About the role
We are hiring our second GTM operations teammate: a hands-on GTM Engineer who owns the execution layer of our revenue systems. You will report to the manager of Revenue Operations and work as the front-line builder and operator for a GTM org of 30, running on one of the most modern, AI-native revenue stacks anywhere.
This is an AI-first seat. You will work with Claude/Cursor/Codex and agentic tooling every day, and we expect AI leverage to make you dramatically more productive than a traditional ops hire. It is also a service seat: real people need real help daily, and you will be the first call when a rep is blocked. You know what a BDR's morning looks like, what an AE needs mid-deal, and what an AM checks before a renewal call, and you genuinely enjoy dropping what you are doing to unblock them, running down a minor technical issue, and getting them back to selling. If you want to build systems AND love being the person who unblocks a team, this role is for you.
Key responsibilities
Recurring, high-volume execution & systems support:
Create target lists and audiences for outbound, campaigns, and marketing programs, ensuring swift, and effective sales execution
Build novel, custom, agentic workflows to enable the BDR, AE, and AM teams across pre-sales, sales, and post-sales
Run data enrichment, hygiene, and processing: cleaning, dedupe, and enrichment pipelines in Clay and Salesforce
Provide daily systems support, user management, and front-line issue resolution across the GTM stack: Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, Apollo, Clay, Common Room, etc
Execute territory refinements and CRM build work prioritized by RevOps & sales leadership
Work closely with sales leadership and operations to refine and improve GTM processes through system design and enablement
Ensure new hires are setup and fluent in their tools
Systems you'll manage directly:
Outreach (sales engagement), Common Room (community and signal tracking), Gumloop (agentic workflows), and Default (inbound lead routing)
What we're looking for
3 to 5 years in GTM, revenue, or sales operations at a B2B software company; usage-based or PLG experience is a plus
Fluent in how revenue teams actually run: the day-to-day of BDRs (lists, sequences, meeting handoffs), AEs (pipeline hygiene, deal cycles, forecasting), and AMs (renewals, expansion, account health), so everything you build and every fix you make fits how sellers really work
Hands-on operator of a modern GTM stack: Salesforce administration (declarative: flows, permissions, reports), a sales engagement platform, and an enrichment tool (Clay strongly preferred)
Comfortable with APIs and webhooks; you can wire two systems together and debug a broken sync without waiting for engineering. SQL is a plus, software engineering is not required
Fluent with AI tools as a builder, not just a chat user: you use Claude, Cursor, or similar to script, automate, and ship fast
A systems-design mind with a service heart: empathetic and support-minded, you see the process behind the ticket, you still answer the ticket fast, and you will happily set aside deep work to unblock an AE or research a small technical issue through to resolution
High ownership and low ego: unglamorous data work done precisely is how revenue teams win
Nice to have
CPQ or quote-to-cash experience
Workflow automation platforms (Gumloop, n8n, Zapier, Make)
Data warehouse or rETL exposure (BigQuery, Hightouch, Census)
Familiarity with the generative media or AI infrastructure space
