This is a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for providing specialist cyber expertise and creating solutions that protect the organization's systems and networks against actual and potential security threats and vulnerabilities.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you'll do in the role:You will be part of a Global cross-disciplined Agile Team working towards DevOps practices within the firms Endpoint Security TeamYou will have strong Windows Infrastructure/Security knowledge and experience working in enterprise on-prem and cloud environmentsYou will have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent development, communication, and organizational skills.You will be responsible for continuously improving the quality of our technology solutions, through a range of methods including peer review, retrospectives and refactoring as required.What you'll bring to the role:Senior hands-on infrastructure or enterprise IT experience supporting endpoint or platform technologies at scaleStrong knowledge of Windows endpoint internals, administration, and automation, ideally in enterprise environments with 50,000+ endpointsExperience designing and engineering infrastructure or security solutions from proof of concept through production deploymentAbility to troubleshoot complex Windows environments, including deployment, compatibility, and performance issuesStrong scripting and automation skills, particularly in PowerShell; Python or Ansible experience is also valuableInterest in cybersecurity technologies, with the ability to apply infrastructure knowledge in a security-focused environmentAbility to participate in a global follow-the-sun on-call rotation, with weekday coverage shared across the team during business hours and weekend on-call required occasionally.Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure engineering, endpoint management, or related enterprise technology rolesOther Desired SkillsExperience with Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection/Defender for Endpoint and...
