Job Description
As a Security Officer Identity Verification in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Security Officer supporting an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and provide professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking locations, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts.
- Complete accurate reports, maintain required logs, and support a professional environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
