Executive Admin Assistant
The best executives in the world share one secret: someone brilliant is running the details behind them.
Job Overview
Our UK-based client is hiring a full-time, remote Executive Admin Assistant - a sharp, trustworthy South African professional who will become the right hand to senior leadership. This is a long-term career role working UK business hours, with genuine access to how a growing business is run.
About Our Client
The client is a UK company led by hands-on senior leaders whose diaries, inboxes and priorities move fast. They need more than task support; they need someone who anticipates, protects their time, and quietly closes loops before anyone has to ask twice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex diaries, scheduling meetings across time zones without conflicts
- Run inbox triage: flagging what matters, drafting replies, and filing the rest
- Prepare agendas, briefing notes and follow-up actions for key meetings
- Coordinate travel plans, bookings and itineraries end to end
- Track projects and chase deliverables on behalf of the executive
- Handle confidential information with total discretion
- Build simple systems that keep recurring tasks running themselves
What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day
Your day opens with the diary and inbox: reshuffling priorities, confirming meetings, and putting a short brief in front of your executive before their first call. Through the day you are the connective tissue of the leadership team - scheduling, chasing, drafting, and recording decisions so nothing evaporates after a meeting ends.
Afternoons are for the longer loops: travel plans, project follow-ups, preparing tomorrow's briefings, and clearing the small administrative debris that slows executives down. You will finish each day knowing exactly what tomorrow looks like - and so will your executive.
This role suits a South African professional who is unflappable, discreet and two steps ahead by habit. You will be trusted with real information and real responsibility, and treated as a core member of the team rather than a remote resource.
If you are based in South Africa with immaculate English, a calm head and a sixth sense for what a busy leader needs next, this is the most interesting seat in the business. Apply today.
Requirements
- 3+ years supporting directors, founders or senior executives as a PA or EA
- Immaculate written and spoken English with a professional, discreet manner
- Proven reliability: stable fibre internet, backup power for load shedding, and a private home office
- Advanced with tech tools: Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, calendar management, Zoom, and task trackers
- Exceptional organisation, prioritisation and follow-through under pressure
- Trusted history of handling confidential information with discretion
Benefits
Full-time remote position working for a UK-based employer. Competitive salary paid in ZAR. Long-term stable role. Supportive team environment. Direct access to founder-led business.
