Product Analyst – Team Inventa (ROPS)

Position Overview

As a Product Analyst on Team Inventa within Revenue Operations (ROPS), you will play a critical role in driving innovation at the intersection of business, technology, and clinical practices. Team Inventa acts as the comprehensive product group for DaVita’s Field Revenue Operations; owning core workflow applications and connecting business operations with IT development.

This position focuses on continuously evolving our admissions and insurance management workflow applications, external referral portals, and patient engagement tools. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business acumen and technical fluency, acting as a liaison between operational stakeholders and software engineering teams. You will analyze user needs, co-create application requirements, facilitate the software development lifecycle, and ensure our technology creates the most efficient and seamless experience for our teammates, field partners, and patients.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Discovery Lead: Lead upstream discovery efforts, conduct systematic value vetting, and assess the ROI and business impact of proposed changes to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Data Driven: Leverage data analysis and direct user feedback to inform product decisions, translating complex insights into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations.
  • System & Tech Orientation: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on system interactions, creating detailed process maps and understanding how data capture and processes across multiple systems are interrelated.
  • Ops / UAT Driver: Drive operational readiness and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by facilitating user studies, focus groups, and championing the Voice of the Customer (VOC).
  • Solution Mindset: Conduct root-cause analysis on system issues and translate complex challenges into clear technical requirements. Identify alternative operational workarounds when ideal technology solutions are delayed.
  • Communications & Facilitation: Act as the primary change management driver. Effectively lead working sessions (e.g., requirement reviews, status meetings) to ensure seamless handoffs, field readiness, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Building Product Expertise: Develop deep, product-specific expertise and take comprehensive ownership of the ongoing value delivered to the operations teams and end-users.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in product analysis, business systems analysis, software product management, or a related field.
  • Experience operating within Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in digital product management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Proficiency in analytical tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) preferred.
  • Resourceful and agile with a drive to investigate problems; proven ability to successfully navigate an autonomous work environment.
  • Experience with user testing, QA collaboration, and facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts to diverse audiences and create executive-level documentation.
