Directs and coordinates activities of employees engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines and equipment, and in maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems.
- Reviews job orders to determine work priorities.
- Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines and equipment to ensure continuous productive operations.
- Directs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, air, electricity, water, or gas required for operations.
- Develops preventive maintenance program.
- Reviews quality control and maintenance reports and statistics to play and modify maintenance activities.
- Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
- Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
- Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
- Directs training of workers to improve work performance.
- Assigns work duties; reviews work performance, recommends employee actions regarding hiring, promotions, performance, demotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Cover shifts in department as needed.
- Responsible for the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Sensitive Key Control, Card Access and Non-Sensitive key Control audits to meet MS Gaming requirements as well as property Internal controls.
- Maintains regular backups of all electronic systems and data.
- Responsible for the Operational, Physical and maintenance requirements for the various electronic Key-control systems used on the property IE (Identi-pass, Key-Watcher, Key-Trak, Keri, Onity, Saflok etc.)
- Continually improves on Electronic Key control policy and procedures.
- Make recommendations, initiates, new technology regarding these systems.
- Will occasionally receive, and respond to, emergency calls during non-shift hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years experience in facilities management; two years supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point; Microsoft Project a plus. Hands-on Experience in commercial HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Construction.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crawl, reach.
- Must be able to tolerate non-climate-controlled environments.
- Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be able to work any shift and any days.
