Job Purpose:
The incumbent plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and compliant account opening process for customers. This position involves direct interaction with Branches, meticulous document verification, data entry into core banking systems/ Wworkflow and adherence to all regulatory and internal guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
Customer Interaction:
- Assist branches with account opening inquiries, providing clear and concise information about various account types and their features.
- Guide branches with account opening process, ensuring all required fields are accurately completed.
- Address Branch/customer concerns and queries related to account opening in a professional and timely manner.
Document Verification and Processing:
- Verify the authenticity and completeness of all customer-submitted documents (e.g., KYC documents, application forms like Form 97/Form 60, etc.) in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all necessary identification and address proofs are collected and validated.
Data Entry and System Management:
- Accurately input customer information and account details into the core banking system (e.g., Finacle).
- Process various account opening related transactions and updates.
- Ensure correct mapping of information, even when dealing with substitute forms like Form 97 in lieu of Form 60, including specific handling for income fields.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Adhere strictly to all Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and other regulatory guidelines.
- Identify and report any suspicious activities or discrepancies in customer information or documentation.
- Ensure all account opening procedures are compliant with internal bank policies and external regulations.
Coordination and Support:
- Liaise with branches and other internal departments to resolve any issues or obtain additional information required for account opening.
- Support the team in achieving daily operational targets and maintaining high service standards.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as required.

Required Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
Required Education
- At minimum, a qualifed graduate
