Now Brewing – senior designer - Creative Studio! #tobeapartner

From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.

### We’re not just brewing coffee. We’re brewing culture.

Starbucks Creative Studio is on a mission to build world-class creative from the inside out. We're an in-house team who care deeply about craft, storytelling, and creating work that moves people. Our goal? Raise the bar on what internal creative can be—and then raise it again.

The senior designer will join Starbucks Creative Studio, partnering across a range of brand and customer experience initiatives. We're looking for someone who loves design, thrives on collaboration, and brings a strong point of view to the work. You may work on brand identity, design systems, packaging, illustration, merch, seasonal campaigns, retail experiences, signage, digital experiences, or whatever else we dream up—bringing the Starbucks brand to life through thoughtful, beautifully crafted design.

As a senior designer, you will…

• Design with purpose. Create compelling visual solutions that connect customer needs, business goals, and the Starbucks brand.

• Build the brand and experiences. Develop concepts and execute design across a variety of touchpoints—from brand identity and packaging to retail experiences, signage, digital, and print.

• Tell great stories. Build presentations and communicate creative thinking clearly, connecting design decisions back to strategy.

• Collaborate like crazy. Partner with creative directors, art directors, copywriters, project managers, producers, and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional work.

• Push the work forward. Apply feedback thoughtfully, ask smart questions, and continually refine ideas to elevate the final outcome.

• Keep it fresh. Bring cultural awareness, design trends, and fresh inspiration into the work in ways that feel relevant and uniquely Starbucks.

We’d love to hear from people with:

• 5+ years of design experience at an agency or in-house creative team.

• Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, Firefly) and know your way around Figma.

• A portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking, design craft, and execution across brand identity, packaging, retail, digital, or integrated marketing work.

• Strong visual storytelling ability who can present work and articulate creative decisions with confidence.

• You're obsessed with details and pixel-level craft, but always understand the bigger business and brand objectives

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can manage multiple priorities with ease.

• You're energized by feedback and committed to continuous growth as a designer.
