Equipment Operator - High Pressure

Clean Harbors Edmonton AB is currently looking for High Pressure Equipment Operators to join the team. This position is responsible for safely operating and maintaining heavy equipment on projects. 

You would be supporting projects that require 100% travel. Availability is necessary for training starting in August with projects spanning August to November 2026(or sooner), with the potential to join our team in a permanent role.

  • Operate a variety of equipment, including: Loader, excavators, skid-steers, backhoes and forklifts;
  • Operate a variety of high-pressure tooling (manual and automated), including High pressure pumps, dump gun, specialty tooling for exchanger cleaning, 3D/2D, hydrolazer and hydrotesting equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain equipment through preventative maintenance;
  • Timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork. 
  • Full Class 5 driver’s license is required.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission is an asset;
  • Previous experience operating high pressure equipment required.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment;
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time;
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to complete a drug and alcohol test. 
  • Safety tickets preferred (i.e., H2S Alive, ESC Fall Protection, ESC Confined Space Entry);
  • Common Safety Orientation(CSO) and CSTS required prior to onboarding.
  • Willing to travel for extended periods of time and work 8–13-hour shifts;
  • Flexibility to work day shift or night shift as required;
  • Previous shutdown/turnaround experience is an asset.
