Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage key retail accounts and oversee the end-to-end execution of digital, marketing, and advertising projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project management and account management experience, deep knowledge of digital production workflows, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to a Program Director.
Responsibilities
· Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
· Collaborate with clients to define project requirements, goals, deliverables, and translate them into actionable project plans.
· Manage end-to-end digital production workflows from kickoff to delivery, ensuring alignment across creative, design, development, and production teams.
· Lead cross-functional teams including creative, design, copywriting, production, resourcing, trafficking, and development—to ensure seamless execution of deliverables.
· Handle multiple projects simultaneously with varying timelines, priorities, and expectations, maintaining clarity and control throughout.
· Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and scopes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
· Flag risks early, proactively problem-solve, and keep production running smoothly through shifting priorities.
· Oversee production of digital assets, including animations, standard banners, digital/DCO banners, and other format-specific deliverables.
· Communicate project status, milestones, roadblocks, and insights to internal and external stakeholders with transparency and consistency.
· Conduct post-project reviews and identify opportunities for process and workflow improvements.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or a related field.
· 3-4 years of experience in project management or a similar role within the advertising or marketing industry, preferably with retail clients.
· Strong experience managing digital projects across channels such as social, display, and web.
· Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or similar. Flexitive experience is a bonus.
· Demonstrated ability to manage high-profile accounts and deliver complex, multi-phase projects on time and within scope.
· Strong understanding of digital asset formats, including static, HTML5, animations, and dynamic/DCO banners.
· Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across creative, technical, and production teams.
· Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts well to shifting timelines and expectations.
· Flexibility to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events.
Additional Information
Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is $70,000-$75,000 CAD per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
