The Mammotome Buyer is responsible for the creation, maintenance and management of purchase orders for multiple product groups to supply materials for Mammotome’s Production Department. This role ensures material availability, optimizes inventory, and drives supply chain efficiency through executing purchasing methods such as MRP, PFEP, ROP, and Kanban. The role is also involved in special initiatives within the Global Supply Chain team plus additional projects as needed or assigned.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Manage stock levels using prescribed planning models (min/max, Just in Time, CRP, Kanban, MRP, PFEP).
Analyze material demand based on production plans to determine material needs and execute material’s
Optimize, inventory, spend though capacity and takt planning, along with other long-term planning at MMT.
Meet key deliverables such as On -Time Delivery (OTD) and Inventory value through daily management.
Develop and publish root cause and countermeasure analysis using Problem Solving Process
Supplier maintenance including creation and management of POs, escalating price discrepancies, supplier OTD and overall supplier performance. Drive corrective actions to resolve supplier failures.
Environmental Management System, in accordance with ISO 14001
Comply with environmental procedures established by the company.
Contribute, within its capabilities, to the control of the environmental aspects of the organization.
Participate in achievement of environmental objectives, goals and compliance of the environmental health and safety policy.
The essential requirements of the job include
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred: Industrial Engineer, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management.
Experience 3 to 5 years in Supply Chain and Procurement with MRP, JIT, Kanban, PFEP, Inventory Management.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
