We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with 5–13 years of professional experience and strong expertise in Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) to join our growing data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enabling enterprise-wide data governance, improving data quality, and ensuring compliance with organizational data standards. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, governance teams, and technical teams to manage metadata, business glossaries, data lineage, and governance workflows within the Collibra platform.
This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about transforming raw data into trusted business assets while driving governance initiatives that improve data consistency, accessibility, and regulatory compliance. You will also contribute to enterprise data strategy by supporting governance frameworks, metadata management, and reporting initiatives that enhance business decision-making.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise data governance solutions using Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC).
- Configure and manage business glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata repositories, stewardship workflows, and governance policies within Collibra.
- Collaborate with business users, data owners, and data stewards to establish and maintain data governance standards.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improving data quality.
- Develop and maintain metadata models, business lineage, and technical lineage documentation.
- Perform data profiling, validation, and quality assessments to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Support data cataloging initiatives by documenting business definitions and metadata across enterprise systems.
- Work closely with data engineering and BI teams to improve data accessibility and governance processes.
- Create dashboards, reports, and governance metrics that provide visibility into data quality and compliance.
- Assist in regulatory compliance initiatives by implementing governance controls aligned with organizational policies.
- Participate in data governance committees, governance workshops, and cross-functional projects.
- Troubleshoot governance-related issues and recommend improvements to data management processes.
- Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in Collibra and enterprise data governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–13 years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Governance, or Metadata Management.
- Hands-on experience implementing and administering Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC).
- Strong understanding of enterprise data governance frameworks and metadata management.
- Experience working with structured and semi-structured data.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
