QSTAT Import & Transport Coordinator supports our QuickSTAT department by preparing import consignments for entry or transit through Ireland and UK in line with customer and regulatory requirements as well as coordinating transport dispatch activities to ensure collections and deliveries are completed efficiently and on time. This person will vverseeing fleet utilization, driver scheduling and compliance requirements while maintaining excellent customer service.
How you create impact
- Generation and quality check of Import documents based on HS Codes, Import License and Permits
- Completion of SAD Import Customs entries for non-EU consignments.
- Managing department mailbox, new bookings and operational queries.
- Arranging Clients duty & VAT payment via deferment accounts, ensuring any payments made by Quick Intl is entered into our system.
- Planning and optimizing daily driver routes for collections and deliveries as well as dispatching drivers and ensuring efficient allocation of fleet resources to meet operational demands.
- Monitoring fleet capacity requirements and arranging additional vehicles where required.
- Following up on vehicle checklists, daily inspections and maintenance requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, GDP requirements, road transport regulations and fleet procedures.
What we would like you to bring
- Proven experience in specialist courier operations, with a focus on Life Sciences, Time Critical and AOG shipments preferred.
- Knowledge of airfreight carriers, airport operations and export procedures.
- Knowledge of temperature-controlled packaging solutions for life sciences and other sensitive shipments is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Strong planning, organisational and time management skills, with the flexibility to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective leadership, teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to motivate others and build strong working relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), with strong numerical and financial awareness.
