We are currently seeking a Enterprise Resource Planning Advisor to join our team in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, PAN India, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role purpose

Own the functional design and validation of Oracle Projects and Oracle Time and Labor for the divested business unit, ensuring that project structures, time capture, costing, billing, controls, approvals, and integrations are correctly configured and ready in the target Fusion instance.

Key responsibilities

Lead functional workshops for Projects and OTL to confirm target-state processes for project creation, task structures, classifications, costing, billing, contracts, approvals, and time entry.
Assess source-instance configuration and define what should be copied, reconfigured, simplified, retired, or rebuilt in the target instance.
Define business rules for project master data, tasks, organizations, expenditure types, expenditure organizations, bill rates, cost rates, transaction controls, project team members, and project classifications.
Define OTL rules for time entry profiles, layouts, approval routing, payroll transfer, project costing transfer, time categories, time device or external time integrations, and exception handling.
Review migration mappings prepared by the Projects/OTL data migration specialist and approve functional transformation rules.
Validate integration touchpoints with HCM, payroll, finance, procurement, project billing, project contracts, and reporting.
Lead functional test scripts, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect triage for Projects and OTL.
Support decisions on open project cost migration, project budgets, project commitments, unbilled transactions, billing events, and historical reporting strategy.
Prepare cutover validation steps for Projects and OTL, including timecard freeze, project open/close controls, billing cutoffs, and post-load validation.
Support hypercare for project setup issues, OTL approvals, costing transfers, billing errors, and project accounting variances.

Required skills and experience

Strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Projects/PPM and Oracle Time and Labor.
Understanding of project costing, project billing, project contracts, cross-charge, project budgets, project controls, and project accounting integration with GL/AP/AR.
Experience with OTL time entry, approvals, payroll transfer, project costing transfer, layouts, profiles, time categories, and workforce schedule dependencies.
Ability to interpret source configuration and define target configuration for a divestiture or carve-out scenario.
Experience approving source-to-target mappings and validating migrated Projects/OTL data.
Strong testing, defect management, and user acceptance leadership skills.
Ability to communicate with PMO, finance, payroll, project managers, and time administrators.
Good understanding of reporting requirements for project profitability, billability, utilization, time compliance, and project financial control.

Configuration workbook or setup decision log for target instance readiness.
Functional test scripts and UAT acceptance criteria.
Open project, timecard, billing, and costing cutover plan inputs.
Projects/OTL defect log, decision log, and hypercare triage guide.
Functional signoff for migrated Projects and OTL data.

Success measures

Target Projects/OTL configuration supports agreed divested business processes.
Migrated project and time data passes functional validation and business signoff.
Critical integration flows to finance, payroll, billing, and reporting are tested before go-live.
Cutover avoids duplicate time capture, billing leakage, and project costing gaps.

Works closely with Projects/OTL Data Migration, HCM and Payroll Functional Leads, Finance Functional Leads, Project Accounting, Billing, PMO, Technical Developers, Reporting Specialists, and the Cutover Manager.
