SAP Data Readiness and Governance Lead

Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end SAP data workstream and define the data strategy, roadmap, milestones, and delivery plan.
Direct Brownfield ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration and data readiness activities.
Establish validation frameworks for master data, transactional data, open items, balances, and historical data.
Oversee source extraction, data profiling, cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, and post-conversion validation.
Validate master data such as Business Partners, materials, G/L accounts, cost centers, profit centers, assets, vendors, and customers.
Validate transactional data such as open purchase orders, sales orders, inventory, financial balances, open items, and asset values.
Coordinate mock conversions, dress rehearsals, cutover planning, production migration, and post-go-live reconciliation.
Define data quality standards, controls, ownership, stewardship, and issue-remediation processes.
Manage data risks, dependencies, defects, decisions, and readiness milestones.
Facilitate workshops with business process owners, functional leads, architects, developers, and data owners.
Provide executive-level status reporting on data quality, validation results, conversion readiness, and key risks.
Develop procedures, documentation, training materials, and knowledge-transfer plans for data governance and validation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of enterprise data management, migration, validation, or governance experience.
5+ years of SAP implementation or transformation experience.
Experience leading SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Brownfield migration programs.
Strong experience validating SAP master data and transactional data.
Knowledge of data migration, reconciliation, data quality, governance, and cutover methodologies.
Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments.
Strong communication, facilitation, risk management, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP S/4HANA Brownfield conversion experience.
Experience with SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, Information Steward, Data Transition Validation, or equivalent tools.
Knowledge of master data management, data archiving, retention, and enterprise data governance.
Experience in aerospace, defense, government, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
Success Measures
Data readiness and validation milestones completed according to the program schedule.
Successful execution of mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and production cutover.
Accurate reconciliation of master data and transactional data between SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
Reduced data defects, duplicates, conversion errors, and post-go-live reconciliation issues.
Clear data ownership, governance controls, and positive stakeholder feedback.
