The Opportunity:
The Service Excellence team is a part of the Common Shared Services (CSS) organization and supports multiple functions (including Finance, SCM, HR Operations, and Trade Transport and Logistics amongst others)
As Knowledge Management Specialist, you will support discovery, capture, organization, monitoring, sharing, utilization, and analysis of knowledge across the organization, and will be part of a dynamic team focused on simplification, standardization and automation, enabling the CSS functions to deliver their services with greater efficiency and effectiveness.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex information, working with different teams, and making knowledge easier to access and use.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, and HR teams to document business processes, creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly process documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts to capture, validate, and maintain critical organizational knowledge.
- Leverage process discovery tools, knowledge management platforms, and AI-driven solutions to improve knowledge sharing and accessibility.
- Maintain and continuously enhance a centralized repository of business processes, ensuring documentation remains current, relevant, and easy to access.
- Develop and implement knowledge management practices that enable effective capture, storage, and sharing of organizational expertise.
- Drive the adoption of best practices across functions, fostering knowledge transfer, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular process documentation reviews and audits, identifying gaps, improving quality, and ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization to champion knowledge management initiatives and increase adoption of knowledge-sharing tools and practices.
- Deliver training and guidance on knowledge management methodologies, platforms, and AI-powered tools to empower employees and improve self-service capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation, partnering with Continuous Improvement, AI, and Automation teams to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in knowledge management, process documentation, business analysis, continuous improvement, or a related area; experience in Finance, Supply Chain, HR, or Shared Services is an advantage.
- Proven track record in documenting, optimizing, and managing business processes while driving effective knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with process mapping and knowledge management tools such as Visio, Process Discovery solutions, document management systems, collaboration platforms, and AI-powered knowledge solutions.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver high-quality outcomes within deadlines.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, combined with experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred) and a focus on operational excellence.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, responsible use of AI and digital technologies, and maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, compliance, and knowledge-sharing across teams.
