Fulfillment Lead

Position: Fulfillment Lead

 

The Fulfillment Lead is responsible for overseeing daily fulfillment operations, ensuring efficient processing workflows, maintaining operational accuracy, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role serves as a key liaison between frontline team members, Procurement leadership, and cross-function broad departments to support operational excellence, improve service levels, and enhance overall fulfillment performance.

 

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day fulfillment activities to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient order processing.
• Own task assignment and daily workload direction, setting priorities to ensure established SLAs are consistently met. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve throughput and overall efficiency. Oversee Shipping and Receiving.
• Support inventory management processes, lead cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure replenishment accuracy. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.

• Serve as the primary point of communication between fulfillment team members, leadership, and cross-functional departments.
• Facilitate regular team meetings, status updates, and operational reviews.
• Partner with departments such as Clinical Operations and Supply Chain to resolve issues and improve workflow alignment.
• Escalate risks, delays, or operational concerns proactively and provide mitigation plans.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve operational efficiency, minimize defects, and enhance patient experience directly strengthening internal team performance.
• Develop, document, and implement standardized operating procedures and best practices.
• Support the rollout of new processes, systems, and operational initiatives.
• Monitor implementation effectiveness and adjust processes based on performance outcomes.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Provide guidance, coaching, and operational support to fulfillment staff. Provide work direction and performance expectations.
• Assist in onboarding and training new team members.
• Reinforce quality standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Encourage collaboration and maintain a positive, high-performing team environment.

 

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and minimum of four (4) years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, supply chain, healthcare operations or related field; Or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field. 
• Proficient analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies and workflow optimization.
• Demonstrated communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience implementing new processes, procedures, or operational initiatives is highly preferred.
• This position requires prolonged standing for approximately 8 hours per shift and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
