Job Description
As a Security Guard Arrival Assessment in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a government health and family services location, you will help support a welcoming, orderly environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and communicating professionally with staff and the public. You will maintain a visible presence, report security-related concerns, and help to deter incidents while delivering service with integrity, teamwork, and care.

- Provide customer service to visitors, clients, and staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access-control policies, and security-related protocols at a government health and family services location.
- Screen visitors, vendors, and deliveries for compliance with facility entry requirements, directing individuals to appropriate service areas and reporting concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents, disruptive behavior, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and restricted areas, helping to deter unauthorized access and documenting security-related incidents.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including public service areas, offices, parking locations, and the facility perimeter.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
