Job Summary**
The Project Site Engineering Specialist Professional will be responsible for providing expert technical support and guidance on engineering activities at project sites, ensuring successful project execution and adherence to quality, safety, and schedule requirements for HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES W.L.L.
Job Responsibilities**
* Oversee and manage all on-site engineering aspects of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering assessments to identify potential issues and propose effective solutions.
* Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and subcontractors to resolve technical challenges and ensure seamless project progression.
* Review and approve technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans, providing expert feedback and ensuring accuracy.
* Implement and monitor quality control procedures, conducting regular inspections and tests to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry best practices.
* Prepare detailed technical reports, progress updates, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site personnel.
* Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on site.
* Participate in commissioning and testing activities, troubleshooting any technical issues that arise.
* Act as a primary technical point of contact for clients and consultants on site.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project site engineering, preferably within the energy or power sector.
* Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
* Strong understanding of relevant engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
* Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic site environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).
* Willingness to travel frequently to project sites as required.
