Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our RN Director of Behavioral Health Services at CHI Williston Health, you will help children and adolescents receive comprehensive and compassionate behavioral healthcare so they can achieve improved mental well-being and thrive in their communities.
Every day you will oversee the overall operation of our Child Adolescent Behavioral Health Services (BHS) department, ensuring the highest standards of care. You will be expected to strategically lead and evaluate the economics and regulatory compliance of all behavioral health services. You will focus on the growth and development of your team, and work collaboratively to integrate behavioral health services seamlessly into hospital-wide functioning.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a deep understanding of community mental health services, psychiatric rehabilitation concepts, and recovery philosophies, along with a proven track record of fiscal management and successful strategic planning in a behavioral health setting.
- Direct daily operations of the BHS program, including patient bed coordination and proactive resource management.
- Develop and implement a robust departmental infrastructure that promotes effective communication, teamwork, and utilizes information technology for streamlined service delivery.
- Strategically manage all planning activities to ensure the ongoing effectiveness, growth, and stability of behavioral health services and programs.
- Ensure continuous regulatory compliance with all Federal, State, and Certification requirements, including Joint Commission standards.
Job Requirements
Required
- Registered Nurse: North Dakota (RN:ND)
- Bachelors Degree in related discipline
- Five (5) years behavioral health operations experience with at least one (1) year in an inpatient setting.
Preferred
- Masters Degree
- Two (2) years supervisory experience
