About Triomics
Triomics is building AI-powered software to accelerate oncology clinical trials and cancer care. Backed by YC, Lightspeed, Nexus Venture Partners, General Catalyst, and Battery, we work directly with cancer centers and health systems to bring our platform into live clinical workflows. As we scale, getting our product live inside a hospital's tech stack — quickly, correctly, and with minimal disruption to clinicians — is one of the most important jobs in the company. That's where you come in.
About the Role
We're hiring an Implementation Engineer to own the technical side of customer onboarding — configuring our platform, integrating it with hospital systems (EHRs, data warehouses, and other clinical/IT systems), and making sure every new customer goes live smoothly. You'll be the technical point of contact during rollout: partnering with hospital IT/informatics teams, translating their systems and constraints into working integrations, and handing off a stable, well-documented deployment to our customer success team.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role — part integration engineer, part technical project owner, part first responder when something breaks during go-live.
What You'll Do
Own end-to-end technical implementation for new customers: environment setup, configuration, data mapping, and integration with customer systems
Build and troubleshoot integrations with hospital/health-system systems — EHRs (Epic, Cerner, etc.), data warehouses, and other third-party systems — using standards like HL7v2, FHIR, C-CDA, and REST/SOAP APIs
Work directly with hospital IT, informatics, and clinical operations teams to gather requirements, scope integration effort, and troubleshoot issues during onboarding
Debug data and connectivity issues across the stack — API calls, file feeds, authentication, data transformation/mapping — and drive root-cause fixes rather than workarounds
Write and maintain clear implementation documentation, runbooks, and reusable playbooks so each new deployment gets faster and more predictable
Partner closely with Product and Engineering to flag recurring integration gaps and feed them into the roadmap
Support customers post-go-live during the stabilization period, and hand off cleanly to Customer Success/Support once the deployment is steady
Manage multiple concurrent implementations, keeping timelines, stakeholders, and technical risks visible
What We're Looking For
1+ years of experience in implementation, integration, or solutions engineering for a SaaS product (B2B/enterprise software preferred)
Comfort working directly with technical and non-technical customer stakeholders — you can explain a data mapping issue to an IT admin and a root cause to an engineer
Working knowledge of APIs (REST/SOAP), data formats (JSON/XML), and basic scripting (Python/JavaScript or similar) for debugging and light automation
Strong ownership mentality — you can take a loosely defined onboarding and drive it to a working, documented outcome
Sharp troubleshooting instincts and patience for ambiguous, multi-system problems
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred (nice to have, not required):
Experience implementing or integrating software with EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, Meditech, etc.) or other healthcare IT systems
Familiarity with healthcare data/interoperability standards — HL7v2, FHIR, C-CDA, X12
Experience working with hospital IT, informatics, or clinical operations teams
Prior experience at a health-tech, EHR-adjacent, or clinical software company
