We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Quaker Oats team as an Oat Miller at our Forrestfield site.
In this role, you will plan, operate and oversee the Grain Handling and Oat Cleaning Plant and Oat Mill to meet production targets while ensuring safety, quality, efficiency and equipment reliability.

- Location: Forrestfield (WA)
- 12-hour Shift Roster – 2 Mornings, 2 Evenings and 4 days off.

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor milling processes to achieve production and quality targets
- Adjust equipment and process settings to optimise efficiency, throughput and performance
- Coordinate milling activities to ensure continuous production and operational requirements are met
- Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, GMP and site standards
- Conduct inspections, quality checks and troubleshooting, escalating issues as required
- Support equipment reliability through routine checks, autonomous maintenance and maintenance coordination
- Contribute to team support, operational flexibility and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience operating milling, grain handling or similar manufacturing equipment (desirable)
- Experience monitoring, controlling and troubleshooting automated production processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated history of applying safe work practices
- Manual handling experience
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of GMP requirements and work standards
- Forklift operator, boiler attendant & first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
