In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Review customer requests for quotations, analyze technical specifications, and recommend suitable product designs and solutions for applications
  • Develop cost estimates and build competitive pricing aligned with business strategies and guidelines
  • Prepare technical bids, including clarifications and deviations, in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Participate in technical discussions and clarification meetings with customers to ensure alignment with requirements
  • Coordinate and manage requests for quotations with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support complete proposals
  • Provide technical support and clarification to sales teams and internal partners
  • Translate customer requirements into detailed technical and commercial documentation, including bills of materials
  • Support order processing by preparing inspection plans, documentation, and system entries for manufacturing
  • Participate in post-order and project discussions to ensure consistency with agreed terms
  • Act as a point of contact for technical queries during contract review phases
  • Collaborate with project management and procurement teams to resolve changes or cost discrepancies
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies and pricing standards

  • Experience in proposals, bid management, or pre-sales within an industrial or technical environment
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into practical solutions
  • Understanding of mechanical systems, fluid dynamics, or electromechanical equipment
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME, ANSI, API, or similar frameworks is beneficial
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in costing and documentation
  • Effective communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus
  • Proficiency in common workplace tools such as word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and global teams
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Background in mechanical, instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline
  • Experience working with industrial valves, actuators, or flow control technologies
  • Knowledge of international standards such as API 609, API Q1, API 598, or similar
  • Exposure to pricing strategies, proposal development, or technical sales processes in an industrial setting
