Global Demand Planning Leader
If you are a Global Demand Planning Leader professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Boulder, Colorado location, you will with minimal supervision, establish proper demand plan for the appropriate manufacturing sites and it related supply chain that enhances expected customer delivery. The excellence demand planning process is a key to championing the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning) Process.
AS A GLOBAL DEMAND PLANNING LEADER, YOU WILL:
- Own the end-to-end global demand planning process, establishing a consistent methodology, cadence, and toolset across all regions
- Serve as the primary liaison between global demand planning and the world area-based demand planning team, ensuring two-way alignment on forecasts and assumptions in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to understand Marketing driven initiatives, new production introductions, pricing changes, promotions and events that influence customer demands
- Manage outlier projects demand as a separate demand stream and drive for perfect execution
- Using Econometric Modelling output to properly size world area demand
- Actively identify and champion opportunities to apply AI, machine learning, and advanced statistical forecasting to improve forecast accuracy and reduce manual effort
- Work across a matrix structure with functional team that creates a global demand plan that well utilize and balance our global manufacturing footprint and properly signal the related supply chain
- Analyze and communicate month-to-month changes, consider and present “what-if” scenarios
- Present demand plan and its supporting factors at SIOP reviews and other forum as required
- Closely monitor and analyze forecast accuracy, Demand Planning and Supply Chain KEY Performance Indicators to identify gaps and initiate corrections to ensure timely resolution
- Best practice sharing and learning with other Emerson business group/unit

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Bachelor of Science in analytical discipline, business, Supply Chain or related field
- Minimum seven years' experience in a Demand Planning/Forecasting or related field
- Advanced understanding of demand planning and supply chain fundamentals
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- IBF, APICS or other forecast/Supply Chain certification preferred
- Experience with Oracle Suite preferred
- MBA preferred

Our compensation philosophy is simple: We pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. The total target comp range for this position is $86,1000 - $123,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
