Senior Analyst-Product Management (Corporate Card Membership Rewards)
Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in payment solutions for Small, Medium (SME) and Global and Large (G&L) enterprises. The Corporate Card Products and Experience team within Global Commercial Products is responsible for developing and managing a suite of corporate payment and spend enablement solutions uniquely differentiated through innovative benefits, features and partnerships underpinned by seamless digital experiences.
As the corporate payments ecosystem rapidly evolves, we are committed to maintaining our leadership position. As such, we are creating a new Corporate Program Product Management organization to bring together all core corporate payment products including corporate cards, central billing solutions (BTA), and virtual cards. The team will spearhead the creation of best-in-class payment experiences and capabilities meeting the evolving needs of G&L and US MM customers.
The Senior Analyst, Product Management (Corporate Card Membership Rewards) will champion product and marketing operations across the Membership Rewards and Benefits programs within US Corporate Card portfolio’s Platinum, Gold, and Green cards. In this role, the individual will be supporting product operations such as decommissioning aspects of the Membership Rewards program, managing Operational Risk Events, and onboarding new product functionality. Responsibilities also include marketing operations such as handling marketing blocks, conducting annual reviews of marketing collateral for internal and external partners and clients, and assisting in executing marketing campaigns to drive Membership Rewards enrollments and engagement. This individual will work closely with external agency partners and internal marketing teams to build on our product vision and collaborate to identify impactful marketing messaging. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with proven project management experience.
This role will work cross functionally with several groups across American Express including Membership Rewards COE, GCS Marketing, Account Development, Finance, and more.
- Take a PMO leadership role in key strategic projects and execution that relate to the future of Amex’s Corporate Card Value Proposition (including rewards, Card benefits, user experience, and fee structure)
- Own the development of project plans, timelines and resource requirements in partnership with key stakeholders; track progress of workstreams, report outcomes to leadership
- Become a Corporate Card industry expert by analyzing internal reporting and market research and lead the effort to uncover themes, trends, and opportunity areas for value prop enhancement
- Support go-to-market activities for portfolio enhancements including training Sales & Account Development teams and coordinating marketing plans
- Serve as Operational Excellence lead by creating and performing control testing, smart monitoring, and mitigating customer or operational issues
- Responsible for day-to-day product management aspects of our Corporate Card products, including key features for the Middle Market
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure stakeholders understand the value of our Corporate Card program and help answer partner questions
- Deliver periodic program performance reports to keep an active pulse on program health metrics
- Lead all aspects of and implement processes / procedures to ensure program compliance 2
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent project management, organization, and prioritization skills with attention to detail
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across large cross functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems
- Analytical skills with comfort identifying key themes and insights from reporting

Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years-experience in product management or project management in the financial service industry
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
