Marketing Intelligence Lead

The Role:
The Lead, Marketing Intelligence will own the regional agenda for actionable market and marketing intelligence, helping GM South America make better strategic and tactical decisions through sharper insight generation.
This role will connect business questions with customer, market, competitive, campaign and brand intelligence, translating multiple sources of information into decisions that improve relevance and effectiveness.
This person will serve as the regional connection to the global Marketing Intelligence agenda led by Miles Davis, ensuring South America both leverages global frameworks and contributes local perspectives that matter.
What you will do (responsabilities):
Lead the regional marketing intelligence agenda, defining the most important questions to support planning and decision-making
Consolidate inputs from market, customer, brand, media, campaign, competitive and commercial sources into clear narratives
Generate insights that help marketing leaders understand what is changing in the market, what it means and what action to take
Create repeatable intelligence routines for planning cycles, campaign reviews, business reviews and leadership discussions
Identify unmet insight needs and recommend new analyses, tools or research approaches
Connect local business priorities to global intelligence frameworks, methods and deliverables
Build strong partnerships with research, analytics, media, sales and brand teams to create a more unified view of the business
Improve the quality of executive storytelling by turning fragmented data into clear implications and recommendations
Act as a thought partner to leadership on customer behavior, market dynamics, competitor moves and emerging risks or opportunities
Lead the Creative Excellence measurement agenda to improve quality & performance of content.
Lead Brand Health & Power measurement agenda.
Bring and integrate outside-in perspectives, insights and cultural trends into marketing plans.
Regional scope across South America markets
Close partnership with Brand, Media, Sales, Planning, Research and Performance teams
Strong role in leadership narratives, planning inputs and business prioritization
Location: São Caetano do Sul/SP
Your skills and abilities (required qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, Engineering or a related field
Solid experience in marketing intelligence, consumer insights, market intelligence, strategic planning or analytics-driven insight roles
Experience synthesizing quantitative and qualitative information into business recommendations
Strong presentation and storytelling skills
Ability to structure ambiguous questions and frame decision-oriented outputs
Strong communication skills in English and Spanish or Portuguese
What can you give a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
Experience in automotive, mobility or complex consumer categories
Familiarity with brand tracking, market trends, segmentation, customer journey analysis or competitive intelligence
Experience using BI and visualization tools to support insight generation
Experience working in regional or global organizations
Key Competencies:

Naturally curious, with the ability to connect different data points into a coherent point of view
Strong storyteller who can simplify complexity and influence decisions
Comfortable moving between structured analysis and broader business interpretation
