Head of Sales | Fund Administration | VC & PE | Private Markets
bunch is building the backbone of private markets. We are enabling next-gen fund operations with one integrated system that combines secure data infrastructure, AI-powered workflows and expert fund services. If you value ownership, growth through real responsibility, and working with a thoughtful, ambitious team, this role might be for you.
Your Role
As Head of Sales at bunch, you will strengthen, lead and scale our sales team across key European markets — UK, Luxembourg and Germany. Reporting directly to the Co-Founder, you will turn our high-touch executive commercial motion into a structured, repeatable sales engine across our key European markets.
You will lead Account Executives and Commercial Associates selling to sophisticated decision-makers across VC, PE, and alternative asset managers (GPs, CFOs, COOs, and Fund Ops teams). Because our business model combines scalable SaaS capabilities with high-touch fund services, sales cycles are relationship-driven, multi-stakeholder, and often long. This role demands a leader who can combine structured organisation and process building, relentless deal execution and strong coaching with domain adaptability.
You will:
Lead, coach, and develop Account Executives across UK, Luxembourg and Germany.
Set a high bar for sales quality, customer understanding, pipeline discipline, commercial judgment, and performance
Define and execute market-by-market sales plans in close partnership with the leadership team
Build a predictable sales operating cadence across pipeline reviews, forecasting, deal inspection, CRM discipline, and conversion tracking
Set up scalable sales processes across the full funnel — from lead routing, qualification, discovery, mutual action plans, pricing, proposal creation, negotiation, handover, and post-sale feedback loops
Own the commercial operating system: CRM hygiene, reporting, dashboarding, pipeline definitions, stage exit criteria, forecasting methodology, activity tracking, and tooling adoption
Create and maintain sales handbooks, enablement materials, talk tracks, qualification guides, objection-handling resources, market playbooks, and deal review templates so the team has a clear source of truth
Coach the team on complex enterprise sales: discovery, qualification, stakeholder mapping, business-case building, negotiation, pricing, executive communication, and multi-threading
Build a regular coaching rhythm through call reviews, deal reviews, pipeline inspection, 1:1s, performance feedback, and structured development plans
Stay close to strategic deals where customer trust, market context, executive engagement, or commercial judgment are critical
Partner closely with other teams, including Marketing, Customer Success, Product Development, Operations, Legal & Finance, and our Co-Founders to advance commercial outcomes
Bring structured market feedback into company planning, including customer needs, competitor patterns, pricing insights, product gaps, and operational blockers
Partner with Talent Acquisition to hire, onboard, ramp, and manage performance as the sales team expands
About you
You have proven experience navigating commercial models that blend scalable software/SaaS with high-touch services, implementation, or customer operations, understanding how to price, position, and transition complex deals without eroding margins.
Extensive B2B commercial experience with proven success closing complex, consultative enterprise software or tech-enabled service deals.
Direct experience selling into venture capital, private equity, asset management, or fund services is a strong plus, but your ability to build a high-performing tech sales motion comes first.
You have a track record of driving sales motions for high-ticket solutions where deal sizes are consistently in the hundreds of thousands, focusing on relationship-driven, consultative outcomes.
You have 3+ years of experience directly managing, coaching, and scaling Account Executives teams, with a clear track record of raising team performance, enforcing pipeline discipline, and driving revenue growth.
You have coached team members through long-cycle, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
You have successfully built and scaled sales motions across multiple markets, driving high performance through rigorous CRM discipline, RevOps tooling, and predictable forecasting routines.
You excel at creating practical sales handbooks, enablement resources, playbooks, and coaching frameworks that teams rely on to drive complex, long-cycle enterprise deals.
You are a seasoned people leader who sets a high bar for excellence, fostering talent through direct feedback, clear performance management, and structured coaching.
You combine strong commercial judgment—knowing when to push or qualify out—with the executive presence to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders.
You have a builder mentality and are comfortable creating structure in an environment that is still scaling
You communicate excellently in English
Existing understanding of VC / PE fund operations, GP / LP structures, fund administration, investor onboarding, transfer agency, or Luxembourg fund structures is a strong plus.
What success looks like
In your first months, you will build a clear understanding of bunch’s commercial motion, ICP, product, implementation model, pricing, and market dynamics. You will establish trust with the existing sales team, founders, and key cross-functional partners, while introducing a clear cadence for pipeline reviews, deal coaching, forecasting, and performance visibility.
Over time, you will strengthen the team’s execution across priority markets, improve pipeline quality and forecast accuracy, standardise the sales playbook, support hiring and onboarding, and build stronger cross-functional routines with Marketing, Solutions, Operations, Customer Success, Product, and RevOps. You will also establish the core sales infrastructure the team needs to scale: clear funnel processes, reliable CRM workflows, useful dashboards, practical handbooks, repeatable coaching routines, and a shared source of truth for how we sell.
Ultimately, you will help build a high-performing and scalable sales organisation across UK, Luxembourg and Germany, improving predictable revenue generation and constantly raising the quality bar for complex private-markets selling.
