Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
As a team member, you may carry out various activities:
Sample Registration and Review:
Enter client job information and register samples associated with work/test codes.
Administrative Data Entry:
Perform basic data entry tasks (e.g., entering new client information into the database); data cleanup (e.g., updating client records); retrieval and formatting of data for later use; etc.
Billing Support:
Generate invoices for clients; reconcile payments with corresponding invoices; follow up and notify clients regarding overdue payments.
Report Preparation:
Prepare laboratory reports or other types of reports.
Manage and present reports as trained and assigned in a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) or other database system to ensure accuracy of the information in reports.
Sales Support:
Prepare quotations; enter client data into the CRM system; maintain CRM records; conduct client research; etc.
Specific Responsibilities
At all times, complies with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
Performs other data quality verification functions as assigned in the future.
Provides reports documenting reviews and changes where required.
Ensures lab deadlines are met and the RBS Team Coordinator (or section Lab Manager in their absence) is notified immediately if the turnaround time specified cannot be met.
Adopts and supports specific operational improvement activities as communicated by the RBS Supervisor. These projects will focus on the improvement of quality and efficiency.
Looks for efficiency gains in your section by being aware of new technologies and reviewing existing procedure.
Able to respond to technical queries.
Participate in scheduled weekly or monthly meetings with team members, laboratory affiliates, and supervisors as needed to ensure that immediate and ongoing issues are addressed.
Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of departmental goals or for his/her personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by his/her immediate superior.
Ensures work area in RBS is kept clean and presentable at all times.
Remains familiar with SGS quality assurance procedures.
Complies to all SGS QHSE and HR policies and procedures.
