Role Summary

Seeking a Process Re‑engineering Consultant through its consulting partners to support operational diagnostics and process transformation across BX functions.

The role requires a consultant who can probe complex operational workflows, model end‑to‑end processes, identify inefficiencies and control gaps, and design scalable future‑state processes. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders across operations, fund administration, finance, risk, compliance, and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct process discovery and diagnostic assessments across BX functions.
• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand workflows, operational pain points, and control gaps.
• Develop end‑to‑end current‑state process maps using BPMN or equivalent modeling frameworks.
• Identify bottlenecks, manual touchpoints, operational risks, and inefficiencies within existing processes.
• Perform root cause analysis to determine drivers of operational issues.
• Design future‑state processes and operating model improvements that enhance scalability, governance, and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and process standardization.
• Support operational transformation initiatives, including implementation planning and change management.
• Produce structured consulting deliverables including process maps, diagnostic reports, and executive presentations.
• Visualize and analyze how business processes interact with underlying systems and data flows, identifying integration points, system dependencies, and opportunities to improve process efficiency through better system alignment.

Required Experience

• 6+ years of experience in process improvement, operational transformation, or management consulting.
• Strong exposure to financial services operations (asset management, private equity, banking, or similar).
• Hands‑on experience with process mapping, operational diagnostics, and workflow redesign.
• Experience identifying process inefficiencies, operational risks, and control gaps in complex organizations.
• Familiarity with process modeling tools such as Visio, Signavio, ARIS, or Lucid chart.

Preferred Domain Exposure

• Portfolio reporting and analytics
• Client onboarding / KYC / AML
• Reconciliations and financial controls
• Regulatory and compliance processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt / Black Belt) or similar process improvement certification.
• Prior experience working in consulting engagements with financial institutions.
• Exposure to automation or digital initiatives (RPA, workflow tools, STP).
