The Role
As a Legal Assistant, you will help keep the team running smoothly while providing a professional and reassuring first point of contact for new clients. You will support fee earners with high-quality administrative and organisational work, helping to deliver an efficient and client-focused service.- Managing physical and digital filing systems to ensure documents are organised and accessible
- Drafting correspondence, legal documents and other paperwork as required
- Answering and making telephone calls, liaising confidently and professionally with clients and third parties
- Assisting with client onboarding, including opening and closing files in line with compliance procedures
- Carrying out general administrative duties such as scanning, photocopying and data entry
- Supporting fee earners with diary management, scheduling appointments and managing multiple diaries
About You
The role would suit someone who enjoys building strong working relationships, takes pride in being organised, and is looking for a position where they can become a trusted part of a busy specialist team.- Previous experience within a law firm in an administrative or support role would be helpful, ideally within Private Client, but we are also interested in hearing from organised and client-focused candidates who are keen to develop in Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning.
