An exciting opportunity for a proactive Environmental Health & Safety specialist to support safe and compliant site operations in a fast-paced environment. The role will focus on ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and ISO standards, driving EHS initiatives, supporting risk management and training programmes, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the business. Ideal for someone with a hands-on approach, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to maintaining high environmental health & safety standards.
Where you come in:
* Developing and administering procedures (including risk assessments and safety related protocols training etc) to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislative requirements and corporate EHSS requirements
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Environmental Management Systems (ISO standards)
* Conduct risk assessments and implement effective hazard control measures using practical and engineering solutions.
* Provide day-to-day EHS support across site operations
* Support chemical awareness, ergonomics, waste management programmes.
* Participate in incident and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and corrective actions
* Conduct EHS inspections, audits, and track performance metrics to drive improvement
* Deliver EHS training and promote a strong safety and environmental culture
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operations and projects.

Education and Experience:
* Typically requires a bachelor's degree (level 8) in Health & Safety and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment in the medical device, pharma or similar industry.
